Hello Everyone,

Please see listed below the Practice Schedule for next week. 12/22 thru 12/26.

FRESHMAN SCHEDULE
9:00 am to 11:00 am - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Days off- Thursday and Friday

VARISITY SCHEDULE
10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm - Varisty wrestler's MUST return for the second practice - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Days off - Thursday and Friday

If your wrestler is not going to participate you must let Coach Luis know.

Just a quick update, I spoke with Coach this evening and at the Wednesday wrestling meet only the Freshman, Sophmores and Varisty will be wrestling. The Coach at Mission Hills does not have any JV wrestlers.

Just a quick reminder that on Wednesday Dec.16th we will be hosting Mission Viejo at Edison. It will be all levels wrestling and the event will start after school is out. They will weigh in and then the event should start around 4:00 ish. If it changes I will let you know.

Hello Folks,

We would like to Thank everyone for volunteering for the Beach Bash. It was a success and without the volunteers we couldn't have done it without you! It was the best beach bash ever, we had compliments from the Coaches and Referees on how well organized and hospitable our Edison Team was. A special Thanks goes out to Ramona Havilcheck for coordinating the snack bar, she did a awesome job! Also, thanks goes to Sophia Merrill for the great podium that her father built for this event. It was nice to see Westin on the # 1 spot!! Our wrestlers gave their best effort and congrats goes to everyone of them! Lastly, thanks to the freshman wrestler's that worked the tables and helped setup and take down everything for the bash. We look forward to a great wrestling season and thanks again for everyones hard work at the beach bash.

On Thursday Dec 10th at 5:00 pm all the wrestlers will need to help set up the mats for the Beach Bash. Coach Luis has said this is mandatory for the wrestlers to help with this big project.

Also,to clarify the Freshman wrestlers during the Beach Bash event will be working the tables, Coach Luis will give the boys the instructions. They are expected to work both days.

This is it the Beach Bash is upon us!! We still have several volunteer slots that we need to fill, please look at the attached list and let us know what times you can be available. Rick Zumwalt will be contacting you also to see if you are availble for any of the shifts. If you have already volunteered thank you very much. On Thursday at our meeting is when we will be passing out the Staff T-shirts, if are not able to attend then you will get the t-shirt on Friday.

1. Need 3 more Coolers
2. Need 3 more Easyups/Pop Ups (just in case it rains)
3. Need flood lights - need 3 or 4 for the snack bar area and barbecuing, it's going to be dark.

The Beach Bash is this Friday and Saturday and now it's time to clooect the donations for the bash. On Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:00 we will be at the Edison High School Parking Lot by the tennis courts too collect your donations. Please see the attached list of items that we are requesting to be donated.

This is an update on the change for tomorrow's (Friday Dec 4th) bus schedule for VARSITY ONLY. The wrestler's will be leaving class at 10:00 am and the bus is scheduled to leave at 10:30 am. The wrestling gig will start at 1:00 and then they will come home as planned on the bus in the evening. Please remember to pack a lunch and water.

Hello Everyone,

This email is to clarify that the Freshman will be wrestling on Saturday at Laguna Hills High School this Saturday Dec. 5th. The bus will be leaving at 6:00am and the wrestlers should arrive at 5:45 am. When they arrive at Laguna Hills they will weigh in and the tournament should start about 9:30 am. When the tournament is over then the wrestlers will return back on the bus to Edison. It's all all day thing so be prepared to pack plenty of water and food for the day.

The Varsity wrestler's will be wrestling on Friday Dec 4th and Saturday Dec 5th these details were emailed yesterday.

Last but not least, on the Schedule for Wednesday Dec 9th there is a tournament at Laguna Hills it's only for VARSITY. The schedule is incorrect as it states all levels.

I hope this clears up any confusion. I have updated the Schedule for your review.

Friday Schedule:
1. Bus will leave Edison at 8:30am
2. Weigh In is at 10:00 am
3. Wrestling to begin at 1:00 pm.
4. Please pack a lunch and water
5. Return on Bus after tournament to Edison

Saturday Schedule:
1. Vans will be leaving at 6:00 am - please be there by 5:45
2. Weigh in once they arrive
3. Wrestling to begin about 9:00 or 9:30
4. Please pack plenty of food and water
5. Return to Edison after the tournament.

Coach will advise the wrestler's who will be going so they need to check with him.

Sorry for any confusion that this may have caused, I only listed on the schedule for Friday,,my bad...
