Dear Wrestling Families,

Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were enjoyable and your 2012 is off to a great start!

Our Booster meeting has been changed from Wednesday Jan. 11th to Tuesday January 10th at 7:00pm in the Faculty lounge. We have a dual with Fountain Valley on Wednesday that’s why we had to move the date.

Please see below important updates for your review.

• PICTURE DAY is going to be Thursday January 12th at 2:00 pm in the Wrestling room. We will be passing out the picture packets at our meeting on Tuesday evening. It’s very important that your wrestler is there on that day to be in the Team pictures, as the pictures will also be in the yearbook. Each Wrestler will receive 1 Team picture that the Booster Club is providing and will be given to them at our Banquet. The packet will offer different price ranges and selections for you to choose from.

• Snack Bar Volunteer List is attached, this is for our home duals on Wednesday January 11th, Edison vs Fountain Valley and Thursday January 26th, Edison vs Los Alamitos. We need volunteers to help with the Snack Bar. Jim and Julie Lyle will be setting up at 3:30 as the dual starts at 4:00pm. Please look at the schedule and let me know what shift you can take. We also need the following items donated: Water, Dr. Pepper and Sierra Mist.

• Senior Night will be on January 26th during our duals with Los Alamitos, we will introduce each wrestler and they will walk with their parents have a photo taken and the wrestler will present to their mother a bouquet of flowers. We will be having each wrestler fill out a Q & A form so when we are introducing them we can say a few things about them. It will be a fun evening and I hope that you all will attend.

• The marquis outside the wrestling room has been updated and it looks wonderful. A big Thank you to Giannina and Joe Cucinotti for updating it. If you have any pictures of your wrestler please send them to Giannina as she is putting together our end-of-year banquet video also.

• Wrestling Stickers – We have made and Edison Wrestling Sticker and we will be selling them at the dual on Wednesday for $5.00 – I have attached a scan of it for your reference.

• Our Agenda for the meeting will be as follows, Presidents update, Treasurer’s report, Secretary update, VP update. We encourage everyone to attend as our meeting will only be once a month now, it’s important that you are there to participate in the Wrestling program.
